Is it real? Is it fake? The pictures of the dutch creative duo Freudenthal/Verhagen pose a lot of questions. Their Photos are strange and beautiful and playing with perception and atmosphere.



Founded in 1989 by Carmen Freudenthal (photographer) and Elle Verhagen (stylist), their work combine fine art photography with art, fashion and design. In this way, they have been worked for a lot of clients from the fashion scene like Viktor and Rolf and Bernahrd Willhelm. Their style is very surreal and combines graphic techniques with a contemporary imagery.
